Last week we were given a new assignment, which was called 'The City'. We got shown a presentation of all different photographers which all in some way relate and respond to the theme 'The City'.
We also got introduced to 'Psychogeography' which involves a small group of photographers that want to show a different perspective of how we view our city. I am really interested to research more into this because I had never heard about it before until now.
This week we are going to be Psychogeographers ourselves because we're going to be 'Urban Walking' around manchester and experimenting with blindfolds, earplugs and writing while taking are pictures which will give us interesting outcomes. This should help us understand more city and street photography and inspire us to then go out on our own and take photos.
